New Bethesda Game Listed on Amazon Could be a Fallout 3 and/or New Vegas Remaster

A new Bethesda game appeared earlier today on Amazon, as spotted by Wario64, eagle-eyed as always. There are no whatsoever official details on the title, but there is a countdown video that looks a lot like those we're used to seeing in promotional Fallout videos.

There's a good chance this will be a Fallout game, then, for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Of course, it can't be Fallout 5, as Fallout 76 launched only a few months ago and Bethesda Game Studios is known to be working on other titles (Starfield and Elder Scrolls VI) anyway.

The logical conclusion is that this should be a remaster of Fallout 3 or Fallout New Vegas, or even both. If there was only one of the two, though, which would be your pick? Let us know below.

Fallout 3

For 200 years, Vault 101, a fallout shelter, has faithfully served the surviving residents of Washington DC and its environs, now known as the Capital Wasteland. Though the global atomic war of 2077 left the US all but destroyed, the residents of Vault 101 enjoy a life free from the constant stress of the outside world. Giant Insects, Raiders, Slavers, and yes, even Super Mutants are all no match for superior Vault-Tec engineering. Yet one fateful morning, you awake to find that your father has defied the Overseer and left the comfort and security afforded by Vault 101 for reasons unknown. Leaving the only home you've ever known, you emerge from the Vault into the harsh Wasteland sun to search for your father, and the truth.

Fallout New Vegas

Welcome to Vegas. New Vegas.
It’s the kind of town where you dig your own grave prior to being shot in the head and left for dead…and that’s before things really get ugly. It’s a town of dreamers and desperados being torn apart by warring factions vying for complete control of this desert oasis. It’s a place where the right kind of person with the right kind of weaponry can really make a name for themselves, and make more than an enemy or two along the way.

As you battle your way across the heat-blasted Mojave Wasteland, the colossal Hoover Dam, and the neon drenched Vegas Strip, you’ll be introduced to a colorful cast of characters, power-hungry factions, special weapons, mutated creatures and much more. Choose sides in the upcoming war or declare “winner takes all” and crown yourself the King of New Vegas in this follow-up to the 2008 videogame of the year, Fallout 3.
