MSI Prestige 2026 Laptops To Feature Intel Panther Lake "Core Ultra Series 3" CPUs With Stunning OLED Displays & Over 24 Hour Battery Life
MSI and Intel recently hosted an event in New York where they presented their upcoming Prestige 2026 laptop lineup to the press. ETA Prime managed to get a close-up of these laptops, confirming some very essential specs and features that the new lineup is going to boast.

Starting with the CPUs, the MSI Prestige 2026 laptops will be powered by Intel's Panther Lake "Core Ultra Series 3" CPUs based on the 18A process node. We have the full deep-dive on Panther Lake CPUs here. No SKU was confirmed, but it looks like these will be configured with various CPU and memory options.
Besides the CPU upgrade, which is the biggest one among the listed highlights, the MSI Prestige 2026 lineup would also boast premium OLED displays with high refresh rate and brightness. These will be perfect for the new Multi-Frequency Display technology, enabling extended battery life on Panther Lake systems. Panther Lake also supports the new Smart Power HDR tech, which saves a lot of power when viewing HDR content.

Talking about battery life, the MSI Prestige 2026 lineup is said to offer "Ultra-Long" battery life with over 24 hours (estimated). Intel's Panther Lake CPUs are expected to carry the long battery life features of Lunar Lake and combine them with the performance of Arrow Lake mobile chips, so the extra-long battery time sounds great, and also seems perfect for handheld devices such as the next-gen MSI Claw with Core Ultra Series 3 chips.
Besides that, the MSI Prestige 2026 laptop lineup will feature an ultra-slim profile, measuring just 13.9mm on the 16" model. These laptops will be available in 13", 14", and 16" flavors, and the 16" model is said to weigh less than 1.6kg while the 14" and 13" models will weigh less than 1kg. MSI, along with other OEMs, is expected to launch its next-gen Panther Lake-powered laptops at CES 2026, so stay tuned for more info.
