MSI's High-End RTX 50 GPUs Get New Designs: GeForce RTX 5090 SUPRIM Titanium SOC & RTX 5080 EXPERT OC

The MSI GeForce RTX 5090 SUPRIM Titanium Edition SOC graphics card is a visual feat, absorbing Golden Titanium textures into a flagship design which feels super premium.

This graphics card is a triple-fan and 3.5-slot behemoth which comes with all the latest features that we got to see in the SUPRIM SOC series, such as the use of Stormforce fans, Hyper Frozr thermal design, and an advanced vapor chamber which promises absolute cooling performance. The titanium material used on this graphics card is both lightweight and super-durable, offering strong resistance to corrosion while looking great.

The MSI EXPERT series also makes a return with the GeForce RTX 50 series, and the first design that the company is showcasing with this new and improved cooler is the GeForce RTX 5080 Expert OC.

Just like the rest of the RTX 50 series cards, the EXPERT OC comes with the latest Stormforce fans in a flow-through design with one fan on the front and one on the back. The card also comes equipped with a vapor chamber, which is integrated with the GPU and VRAM, utilizing Core Pipe and Optimized Fin design for the heatsink.

Just like the previous variant, the MSI GeForce RTX 5080 Expert OC adopts a champagne-gold color scheme and takes up 2.5 slots worth of space. The card has a large grill pattern on the front which gives a very premium look and also helps dissipate air from the secondary fan.

Besides these high-end designs, MSI is also going with a "Blast from the Past" design with the return of its Twin Frozr cooling solution. The new 2025 Twin Frozr design is a look back at the classic Twin Frozr while making use of modern-day engineering features such as Stormforce fans, a nickel-plated copper baseplate, a no-solder-hole design, and even comes with a full-coverage metal backplate. The heatsink is composed of copper and aluminum composite fins that offer improved thermal dissipation, and the first variant that we will see of this design is the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti Twin Frozr 2025 OC.

Another classic design that is being relaunched is the Cyclone, which was seen all the way back in Fermi days. This new design is updated with a single-fan solution which features a built-in LCD that can be customized. Furthermore, the card uses a custom fan with optimized fan blades that generate more air and pressure. Other features include a custom PCB, effective thermal padding and a solid backplate.
