[Original Story] More Death Stranding news and even new footage may be coming on August 19th, as recently teased by the Opening Night Live for Gamescom 2019 host.

On his Twitter profile, Geoff Keighley shared a video about the Opening Night Live show. The video also briefly shows actor Mads Mikkelsen, who is going to appear in Death Stranding, hinting at the fact that something regarding Death Stranding will be shown during the event.

Hideo Kojima recently commented on Death Stranding and why it's a game unlike any other on the market right now.

There’s no reason to create something that’s already there. I want to create something that gives more inspiration to the world. Like Hollywood movies where some don’t live with you, people just digest and consume. What I do is make something that’s difficult to chow down when you digest my work. What happens when I release my game or when Nicolas releases a movie, we get criticism or praise. But you think about it ten years later, same as Bladerunner or 2001: Space Odyssey.

Death Stranding launches on PlayStation 4 on November 8th. We will keep you updated on the game as soon as more come in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news on Hideo Kojima's next game.
