Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Now Supports Nintendo Labo; More Titles To Get Support In The Future

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe received a new update today, which introduces support for Nintendo Labo.

On its Official Website, Nintendo confirmed that the racing game can now be played on Nintendo Switch using the Toy-Con Motorbike from the Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 01: Variety Kit.

You can play Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in TV mode using the Toy-Con Motorbike, or insert the Nintendo Switch system directly into the Motorbike’s dashboard to play it on-the-go! Additional driving options such as Smart Steering and auto-accelerate are also available when using the Motorbike as a controller.

The popular kart racing game will not be the only game to receive Toy-Con support in the future. It’s definitely nice to hear, as up until today, the Toy-Con could only be used with the Nintendo Labo Software.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the first game outside of Nintendo Labo software to receive Toy-Con support, and more titles will be compatible with Nintendo Labo in the future. Please stay tuned!
