LG G6 announcement date during month of March

There was a rumor floating about that the LG G6 was going to be announced well before its rival’s flagship in order to gain a healthy lead in the competitive Android smartphone market. Now, a fresh rumor not only claims the announcement month of the G6 but also its expected date when the company is going to showcase the phone to the public.

LG G6 Rumored to Have an Announcement Date on March 10 – Well Before the Announcement of the Galaxy S8

The latest report (via ETNews) details that one high-ranking official belonging the LG Electronics stated the following:

“We can not disclose the details of the G6 since the announcement, but we can confirm the G6 at MWC 2017.”

According to a previous rumor, the G6 is going to adopt a completely new design and this will be done in order to provide support for wireless charging, which is a very good approach in our opinion. With the company having already announced a wireless charger that can deliver up to 15 watts of power, we’re hoping that the G6 is compatible with such a device.

In addition, the high-end offering is also expected to be IP68 certified, but this would mean that the insides of the smartphone are going to be sealed tight to the extent that a removable battery option might have to be removed. With the company also having announced a 5.7-inch QHD+ display, we should expect the same technology present on the upcoming LG G6.

Hopefully, the manufacturer retains some terrific properties of the V20, and that should include a Quad DAC chip. Most phone makers often overlook devices that emanate terrific sound, but the announcement of the V20 shows that the company is also catering to audiophiles. With the removal of the modular design, should we expect a premium phone offering in the form of the LG G6 during the month of March? Do tell us your thoughts.
