The Legend of Zelda Delayed to 2017, Will Launch Simultaneously on WiiU & Nintendo NX

Earlier today, Nintendo announced that the new console Nintendo NX would launch in March 2017. At the same time, The Legend of Zelda has been officially delayed to next year citing quality improvements, but also the simultaneous launch on WiiU and NX.

This had been suspected for a while, but it's now official. Apparently, The Legend of Zelda will also be the only playable Nintendo game at E3 2016 "in order to provide attendees a complete immersion".

Fans will probably be disappointed, since the game was already delayed from 2015 to 2016, but it is perfectly understandable from Nintendo's standpoint as it will make for a strong launch title.

On the other hand, the WiiU console loses its biggest remaining game for 2016. How do you feel about this? Let us know in the comments!
