Now that Apple's 'By Innovation Only' event is over, we can start to catch our breath and analyze the company's latest products. The iPhones 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max make a few, important changes over predecessors. Of these, the most important are in the camera and performance segments. However, perhaps out of insecurity, Apple chose to discontinue the iPhone XS and XS Max just as it launched the iPhones 11. While this is a topic for another piece, right now we've made a list of what you should expect inside the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max's retail boxes. Take a look below for more details.

Apple's Retail Box Contents For iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max Mark Company's Subtle Shift To USB-C

This time around, Apple's retail box accessories for the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max are quite different from the ones that shipped with their direct predecessors. While the iPhones XS shipped with a USB-to-lightning cable, lightning EarPods and a 5W adapter, Apple has made important and long overdue upgrades with the reatail box contents of the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max.

The company has been under criticism for a while to upgrade charging bricks for the iPhones and to introduce lightning to usb-c cables. The cables are particularly helpful to users of the MacBook Pros since the latest notebooks from Apple only have USB-C ports.

The iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max have now become Apple's first smartphones to ship with an 18W USB-C power adapter and a lightning to USB-C cable. These, in addition to the actual device and lightning EarPods bring up the count of the smartphones' retail box contents to five, when we include the documentation as well.

The 18W adapter will prove a godsend to a lot of users as they won't have to make separate purchases of the accessory anymore. Additionally, the USB-to-lightning cable will ensure that the iPhones 11 Pro can easily connect with today's notebooks and PCs. All in all, Apple's made a good decision this year, albeit later than it should have.

The iPhones 11 Pro and Pro Max will be up for pre-order on Friday at 9am PDT, and the devices start shipping on the September 20th. They've got a $999 starting price tag, and come in 64GB, 256GB and 512GB storage configurations.
