Intel Wildcat Lake-powered Dell XPS 13 has officially launched, starting at a price tag of $599. We have been seeing various Wildcat Lake laptops listed for as low as $449 recently, and some listing for nearly $600, giving tough competition to the MacBook Neo. Today, with the launch of Dell XPS 13, users will have more options in the market, allowing them to purchase a lightweight and power-efficient laptop without breaking the bank.
The Dell XPS 13 boasts a 6-core processor, featuring a 2+4 configuration using two Cougar Cove and Four Darkmont LP-E cores. The processor features up to 4.6 GHz of boost clock, 6 MB of cache, and Xe3-based integrated graphics. Dell XPS 13 runs Windows 11 Home out of the box offers Microsoft 365 trial for 30 days, making it suitable for students.

The laptop offers a 13.4" display, featuring touchscreen functionality, and runs at up to a 120 Hz refresh rate for fluidity. The display is quite bright, offering up to 500 nits of brightness and a resolution of 1440p for sharper image quality. The device brings 8 GB of LPDDR5X onboard memory that runs at 7467 MT/s, and for storage, a 512 GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD.
Dell XPS 13 retains its iconic slim and lightweight design, featuring just 12.7mm thickness and 1kg weight, hence making it a solid option for travel. The notebook brings the latest connectivity as well, featuring an Intel WiFi 7 adapter and Bluetooth 6.0 for wireless internet and peripheral connectivity. For battery life, the device is equipped with a 52 Whr battery, which should be sufficient for running the device for longer durations, given that the processor boasts just 15W of TDP.

Pricing-wise, Dell says the XPS 13 is going to sell for $599 for eligible students and $699 for everyone. The laptop is currently available for purchase from the official website.
