Install Facebook Home v1.0 on LG Nexus 4
We've already posted tutorials on how to download and install Facebook Home v1.0 on Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100 and Galaxy S III. Both of these devices are hugely popular with the masses, but since Facebook Home has only been released for a few Android devices, there's no telling when they'll officially be getting the software. Luckily there are ports that we can use to get the experience on devices that have been left out. This latest tutorial will teach you how to install Facebook Home v1.0 on Nexus 4, another very popular Android smartphone.
How To Install Facebook Home v1.0 On LG Nexus 4:
As long as you follow these steps down to the very last letter, it won't be difficult for you to go through with the procedure. Do keep in mind that these Facebook Home ports are unofficial, and that you install them on your device at your own risk.
Step 1: Remove existing Facebook and Messenger apps from your device
Step 2: Open Google Play Store, do a fresh download of both Facebook and Messenger apps
Step 3: You'll need a rooted device for this, as you now have to change ro.product.model from 'Nexus 4' to 'HTC One X' in order to make this port work
Step 4: Download and install Facebook Home port for Nexus 4, install the port like you normally would install any Android app
Step 5: Open settings in the Facebook app and enable Facebook Home
Step 6: Reboot your device once after reverting build.prop
Your Nexus 4 will be running Facebook Home once it reboots, the procedure itself is very easy though if you're not sure about any particular step, do leave a comment down below and we'll immediately help you out.
