Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Mod

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom introduces a lot of new mechanics on top of those seen in its predecessor to offer an experience that is unlike any other. Among these new mechanics are Zonai Devices that can be attached to weapons for unique effects or that can be used to build some unique methods of transportation and more.

Using these Zonai Devices, however, requires power, and at the start of the adventure, Link will be quite limited in this regard, having only a single battery worth of power. Thankfully, it is possible to get more of them.

How to Get More Batteries in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Increasing Link's batteries in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom requires quite a bit of work, but all the effort you will have to put in will be well worth it, as each Energy Well you add to your batteries will allow you to use Zonai Devices for much longer, making the game more fun in the process.

To get one additional Energy Well, the small bar which can be seen inside the battery indicator, you will need to trade 100 Crystalized Charges with the Zonai Construct that can be found right outside Lookout Landing in Central Hyrule.

While getting to the Zonai Construct that will increase your batteries in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is easy enough, getting Crystalized Charges will require way more effort. While exploring the Depths, you will often see big ore deposits which can be broken with the appropriate weapon. Many of them will yield Zonaite. This unique ore can be converted into Crystalized Charged by speaking with the Forge Construct, which can be found in the Central Abandoned Mine in the Depths. Alternatively, you can also return to the Great Sky Island and speak with the Construct that originally instructed you on the inner workings of Zonai Devices and Zonaite. Crystallized Charges can be obtained in other ways, but getting them this way is generally the most convenient.
