Here's how to hold multiple Attack and Tactical Units weapons in PRAGMATA

As you explore the first few sectors of the base in PRAGMATA, you will find multiple Attack and Tactical Units to help you deal with bots. In the beginning, you will need to make choices with your loadouts based on very limited space, but you won't be so limited in terms of weapon options for the entirety of the game.

Quick Summary: Can You Carry Multiple Units?

Yes, but not at the start of the game. You must progress to Sector 03: Terra Dome and complete a specific mid-boss encounter to unlock the ability to carry two weapons per unit type.

How to Unlock Additional Weapon Slots

To expand your weapon carrying capacity, you need to:

  • Proceed through Terra Dome until you can climb on the Central Lift. Shortly after, you will have to fight a powerful boss bot.
  • After defeating this bot, continue to the next main objective marker. You will come across a Firmware Updater. This terminal functions similarly to the one found in the Shelter used to upgrade Stats, except that it unlocks a new slot for Attack and Tactical Units.

How to Change Weapons on The Fly

Once you have multiple weapons equipped, you can use D-pad shortcuts to switch between weapons without having to do so with a dedicated menu.

  • Attack Units: Press Left on the D-pad twice to cycle between your two equipped weapons.
  • Tactical Units: Press Right on the D-pad twice to cycle between your two equipped weapons.

NOTE: While you will obtain new Primary Unit weapons, you can only switch between them via the Loadout menu right before traveling to any of the base's sectors
