When do you refresh your computer? When something is either getting stuck or if you want to ensure that the visual experience is perfect. Your computer refreshes automatically by default, ensuring that you get a smooth display. To ensure that you get the best experience possible, you can manually adjust the refresh rate. This tutorial will show you how to modify refresh rates on Windows 11 systems.
Refresh Rate Windows 11
So, what exactly is a refresh rate. This is simply the number of times per second your display refreshes. The higher the refresh rate, the better your Display. You may not care much about the graphics if you aren’t a PC gamer. However, if you are one, you appreciate a good display and want to do everything you can to get the optimum experience. Adjusting the refresh rate can help, so follow the steps below:
Step-1: Click on the Windows icon on the taskbar and select the Settings cog. (You can also open the Settings app by using the shortcut keys Win + I)
Step-2: The Settings app will open by default in the System settings tab. Select Display from the right pane.
Step-3: Scroll down in the right pane and under Related settings, click on Advanced Display.
Step-4: Select the desired rate in the drop-down menu next to Choose a refresh rate. (Keep in mind that the higher the refresh rate, the better the Display)
