Keep one thing in mind though: this feature does not work on every cellphone carrier and some might even charge for such a thing. Hide Caller ID on iPhone.

1. Launch the Settings app from your home screen.

2. Scroll down and tap on Phone.

3. Select Show My Caller ID.

4. Turn the toggle switch off.

Once the feature is disabled, your number won’t show up whenever you call someone. But remember, this does not give you a free pass to do anything you want. Use this feature as responsibly as possible. The authorities will still be able to track you down if you’re planning to use this feature to pull off a prank on someone.

Keep in mind that hiding your caller ID feature is not just limited to the iPhone. Android phones support it as well. Heck, if you have a flip phone, that’ll work just fine, as long as you know where to find the feature in the first place.
