It is Thursday, so NVIDIA is once again sharing news on the upcoming additions to its GeForce NOW cloud gaming platform.

Throughout the month of May, GeForce NOW users can expect a grand total of sixteen PC games to be added to the cloud library, including The Lord of the Rings: Gollum. Daedalic Entertainment's action/adventure stealth game is finally due for release on May 25th, more than three months after the original announcement, and it'll be available on day one via GFN if you purchase it through Steam.

As you might remember, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum features extensive NVIDIA features, such as support for NVIDIA Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) 2 and 3, ray traced reflections and shadows, and Reflex. All of them will be supported via the GeForce NOW cloud, too, provided that you have an active Ultimate tier subscription, which had its servers upgraded with an RTX 4080-like GPU. According to the official The Lord of the Rings: Gollum system requirements, GFN users can expect to be able to play the game at 4K resolution and 60 frames per second on Epic graphics settings with DLSS set to Performance mode.

While waiting for the release of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, users can go strategic with Triumph Studios' 4X game Age of Wonders 4, out now on Steam. A few days after the launch of Gollum, on May 30th, the System Shock remake (for a lot more on that game's development, check this interview with Nightdive's Stephen Kick and Larry Kuperman) will also be available for streaming via GeForce NOW; System Shock features DLSS 2 support, too.
