It's Thursday, which means it's also another GeForce NOW Thursday, with a new batch of games getting added to NVIDIA's cloud streaming service. Notable titles include Empulse, the Titanfall-like shooter from 1047 Games, a new action roguelike called Dark Scrolls from developer doinksoft and publisher Devolver Digital, and The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales. But what's just as important is that they're all arriving on the service just as the first wave of Steam summer sales start to kick off.
Now, that's not to say that those games mentioned are part of any upcoming summer sales. Empulse and Dark Scrolls are both on launch sales at the moment, while The Adventures of Elliot is not on sale. But several publishers have already launched their own summer sales on Steam, and with the vast library of games available to play on GeForce NOW, it's practically a guarantee that you'll be able to pick up something on Steam for a great discount and enjoy playing it through the cloud.

On top of the three aforementioned titles, the other games joining GeForce NOW, Fatal Fury: City of Wolves, SAND: Raiders of Sophie, and Deer & Boy are also joining the service, with the latter two both being brand-new releases.
Deer & Boy follows the journey of, you guessed it, a young boy and a small deer in a side-scrolling, art and narrative-driven adventure. SAND: Raiders of Sophie, is on the other end of the spectrum, as a mech-fortress building, first-person shooting, PvP extraction title. Here's the full list of games joining GeForce NOW today:
- Dark Scrolls (New release on Steam, available June 22)
- SAND: Raiders of Sophie (New release on Steam, available June 22)
- Deer & Boy (New release on Steam, available June 23)
- EMPULSE (New release on Steam, available June 24)
- The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales (Steam)
- FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves (Steam)
Also, while the first wave of summer sales hit Steam, it's still possible to grab a GeForce NOW subscription at its discounted summer price, with $70 off a 12-month Ultimate membership and $35 off a 12-month Performance membership.
For more on The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, the game that's arguably the biggest title joining NVIDIA's cloud gaming library, you can check out why Wccftech's Francesco De Meo gave it an 8.5/10 in his review. "The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales serves as a charming love letter to the golden age of top-down action RPGs," De Meo wrote.
"While its narrow world design fails to capitalize on its time-travel setting, the experience is heavily elevated by snappy and surprisingly deep combat and a flexible character customization system, making the game one worth experiencing for fans of the genre looking for a modernized take on a classic formula."
