Gigabyte has a new low-profile graphics card in the works based on the GeForce RTX 4060 GPU which features a triple fan cooling solution.

Gigabyte Offers GeForce RTX 4060 GPU In Low-Profile & Triple-Fan Cooler Package

Triple-fan solutions are a very common sight on full-sized graphics cards but it looks like Gigabyte has decided to put one such design on its GeForce RTX 4060 Low-Profile graphics card which may as well be the first to feature a triple-fan cooler.

Talking about the design itself, the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4060 Low-Profile comes in a dual-slot length and a half-height PCB. The I/O bracket takes up the space of a full-height card & it will be nice if Gigabyte actually bundles a half-height bracket. The card comes with a black-colored top shroud and includes a trio of the aforementioned fans which cool the PCB. The fans cover the whole length of the PCB and the last fan actually extends slightly beyond the PCB. It almost looks like Gigabyte saw this fan-made render and decided to launch their own similar-looking low-profile card.

There is no backplate on the card but it does feature a heatsink with dense aluminum fins. The Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4060 Low-Profile comes with a single 8-pin power connector which is more than enough for this 110W GPU. The card additionally comes with two HDMI and two DisplayPort outputs making it a quad-display solution, perfect for HTPC and media setups.

While the triple-fan solution will be overkill for a GPU of this scope, the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4060 Low-Profile will make it a nice upgrade over the existing low-profile solutions which include Radeon RX 6400 and GTX 1650 as those are considered very low-end chips whereas the RTX 4060 is still a very capable GPU but comes in at bad pricing.

You will be getting ray tracing capabilities, an efficient GPU design, AV1 capabilities, and enough power to enjoy eSports gaming with all the latest GeForce tech goodies. It will be interesting to see what pricing Gigabyte will end up with for this graphics card as there's a potential market for it.
