Ghostwire: Tokyo

Tango Gameworks' spooky open world action/adventure game Ghostwire: Tokyo can now be grabbed for free on PC via Prime Gaming. Subscribers simply need to head to the page, link their Epic Games Store account, and will see the game added to their library. Just like with all Prime Gaming offers, it is only available for a limited time; in this case, you should unlock it in the next 27 days.

Ghostwire: Tokyo originally launched on March 25, 2022 on PC and PlayStation 5. In my review of the game, I rated it 8 out of 10, having thoroughly enjoyed the time spent in the desolated version of Tokyo.

Ghostwire: Tokyo may be the best game yet from developer Tango Gameworks. It's a great and meaty action/adventure game featuring an enticing universe, solid combat, and excellent exploration of the wonderfully designed Tokyo.

Alongside Deathloop, the game was part of a timed exclusivity deal with Sony, so it only launched on Xbox Series S|X in April 2023. At that time, Ghostwire: Tokyo also joined Game Pass and was expanded by the developers with the Spider's Thread update, adding new side missions, skills, enemies, explorable areas, and most importantly, a new rogue-lite mode where players test their combat skills in a 30-stage gauntlet. A couple of weeks ago, Tango announced that the game had surpassed 6 million players across all platforms.

Ghostwire: Tokyo isn't the only freebie Prime Gaming subscribers are getting this month. There are also GRUNND, The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters - Deluxe Edition, Monster Prom 2: Monster Camp, The Textorcist, Golden Light, and Super Adventure Hand.

As usual, Prime Gaming also gifts a bunch of in-game content, including the Chesapeake Smart SMG weapon in Cyberpunk 2077, the Plaid Perfect Skin 'From Dusk' for Jacob in Dead Island 2, and some TBA in-game item for Diablo IV that will be released on October 12th.
