G.Skill Makes DDR5 Fancier With Shiny Gold & Silver Memory Modules: Available Soon In Trident Z5 RGB, Royal & Royal Elite Flavors

The G.Skill booth at Computex 2023 is all glittery and gold this year with several DDR5 DIMM modules being showcased. The company has lots of memory DIMMs and while the specs are not finalized yet, the company did give a taste of what's to come. Just like the DDR4, G.Skill is going to be offering its DDR5 memory kits in Royal & Royal Elite flavors. The design language is a slight update over the previous versions but you can expect some top-notch speeds and specs from these kits.

All new Trident Z5 memory kits will feature an RGB diffuser which can be disabled if you want a more simplistic gold and silver look. The two colors are also the only options to select from.

The most basic version of these modules will be the G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB DDR5 which comes with an RGB diffuser and a Gold or Silver trim but the brushed black color palette in the middle is still retained across these modules. The Trident Z5 Royal is the more premium design with a whole Gold or Silver metallic finish and a crystalline RGB diffuser on the top. The modules do look beautiful from all angles and will be a great option for DIY modders who want to build a Gold or Silver-themed PC.

On the highest end, we have the G.Skill Trident Z5 Royal Elite RGB which features a crystalline RGB diffuser too but the pattern in the middle is new and never seen before on the previous Royal Elite modules. The previous modules had another crystalline pattern on the heatsink it self. These modules will cost a lot but will be available in limited quantities. G.Skill hasn't told us the availability date yet but we can expect them later this year.
