In a newly published blog post called 'State of Mobile' Epic Games made it clear what is coming next to Fortnite, their blockbuster Battle Royale title.

Kicking things off is the inclusion of a customizable HUD, something which has long been requested by players and has been added to the game earlier this week already.

If you are into voice chat, then you will be pleased to learn that it is coming to Fortnite mobile as well. This will include the ability to mute yourself, the entire chat itself or let everyone talk with the tap of a button during a game.

Epic Games realizes that Fortnite is a pretty hefty title on mobile therefore they are working round the clock to ensure a smaller download size while 'maintaining performance.' The company also said that they are working to make patches a lot smaller than before so they can be easily downloaded in the background.

Game performance will be improved significantly. A new mode called 'Battery Saver' has been implemented which does exactly what the name suggests but obviously by making some sacrifices, especially in the graphics department. But hey, this also means that you can game longer while on the go. Along with performance, Epic Games also ensured a more stable experience to the overall game as we move forward.

'Stats' are coming, something which has long been requested on mobile too. You can expect the feature to go live this summer after Epic Games update their servers to hold the intense load of stats across all platforms.

Speaker of summer, Fortnite for Android is coming too, in summer, of course. Epic Games has promised to share more information regarding this leading up to the release too. That's all there is to it. There is no concrete release date or anything else at this point.

iOS users can download the game absolutely free from the App Store by tapping on the link below.
