Final Fantasy VII Remake Concept Art Surfaces Online From 30th Anniversary Exhibition

Final Fantasy VII remake

Earlier this month, Square Enix confirmed that new Final Fantasy VII Remake images would be shown at the Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary Exhibition, which is being held until February 28th at the Mori Arts Center Gallery in Roppongi Hills, Tokyo. Now, pictures showing these images surfaced online, allowing fans worldwide to see a modern take on the iconic locations of the game's world.

The pictures' quality is definitely not the best, but it's good enough to spot some of the Final Fantasy VII most important locations, such as the city of Midgar and other places. Additionally, one of the panels shows the AVALANCHE members.

Final Fantasy VII Remake has been in the works for quite some time, but there's still very little we know about the game. Initially, Square Enix has been developing the game in collaboration with CyberConnect 2 but eventually moved back development in-house.

So far, development (for FFVIIR) has been carried out mainly with the support of external partners. However, in view of factors such as improving quality when the product goes into mass production in the future, the company has decided to shift the developmental system back to within the company, so as to maintain a stable schedule and have control over factors such as quality. We will be forming a robust system within the company to properly carry out the development.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is currently in development for PlayStation 4 . We will keep you updated on the game as soon as more come in on it so stay tuned for all the latest news.
