More than a few players have been asking for a proper remake of Final Fantasy VI for years, but Square Enix is seemingly not ready to commit to this project, leaving some players no choice but to recreate the game themselves.

Japanese YouTuber Touya has been working on an AI live-action recreation of the sixth entry in the series and finally released a longer video covering the entirety of the story a few hours ago. This live-action recreation is not only of the highest quality, sometimes making it difficult to distinguish it from a real live-action recreation, but it's also incredibly accurate, recreating characters like Terra, Edgar, Locke, and Kefka very faithfully.

As already mentioned, a proper Final Fantasy VI remake has yet to be released, although the game did receive multiple versions over the course of the years, including a Game Boy Advance port featuring additional content, a mobile port that features some controversial new visuals, and the Pixel Remaster, which introduces some visual improvements that are faithful to the original SNES version, a rearranged soundtrack, and some additional features. Hopefully, once the Final Fantasy VII remake project has been completed, Square Enix will finally take a look at the sixth entry in their popular series and finally give fans what they have been asking for a very long time.
