Yesterday, Epic Games teased an upcoming Fallout crossover with Fortnite in Chapter 5, Season 3. This is entirely unsurprising, as Epic has always tried to bring the hottest entertainment franchises across all media to Fortnite in an attempt to maintain interest in the game.

In a way, it is further confirmation - in case it was needed at all - that the massively acclaimed Fallout TV show (now renewed for a second season) helped propel Bethesda's post-apocalyptic franchise into the mainstream.

Fallout 4 shot to the very top of the sales charts in both the United States and Europe, with Fallout 76 and Fallout New Vegas also surging back to the Top 10. On April 25, Bethesda shared that Fallout 76 had registered over a million players that day, while the franchise as a whole had nearly reached five million daily players.

It is, therefore, quite understandable that Epic would want to bring the franchise to Fortnite. However, there are no current official details or even rumors of what will be introduced to the game. Could it be a wearable Power Armor? Perhaps some Vault Boy/Girl emotes and skins?

We're left to speculate for now. At any rate, the Battle Pass for Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 will end on May 24. Fans expect the next Season to be released shortly after that date, and this is also when we'll know for sure what kind of Fallout crossover Epic has cooked.
