Dragon Ball Z Kakarot has been announced during Microsoft’s 2019 E3 Xbox briefing.

Previously known as Dragon Ball Project Z, the game is now titled Dragon Ball Z Kakarot. The title is being developed by Bandai Namco and CyberConnect 2, Project Z will tell the Dragon Ball Z story in action-RPG style, and as the title suggests, will focus on Saiyan Goku, also known as ‘Kakarot’.

According to Bandai Namco, Project Z will offer “unforgettable adventure” with “over-the-top battles and challenging quests, create life-long friendships, and crusade to protect Earth from fearsome villains.” We’ve included the game’s 2019 E3 trailer down below (courtesy of XCageGame):

Dragon Ball Z Kakarot is slated for a release on Xbox One, Windows PC and PlayStation 4.
