Bethesda Announces Classic DOOM Eternal Skins; Patches Released for DOOM & DOOM II on Switch/PS4/Xbox

Bethesda has announced that in-game skins from DOOM, DOOM II and DOOM III are making their to DOOM Eternal.

The skins are part of a new Slayers Club reward and players can earn these skins by linking their Slayers Club account to the recent re-releases of DOOM, DOOM II and DOOM III. The skins are based on the Classic DOOM Marine – Indigo for the first DOOM, Bronze for DOOM II and Red for DOOM III.

In addition to this announcement, Bethesda has also announced that game updates for the re-releases of DOOM and DOOM II are being released for all platforms. You’ll find the release notes for these updates below:

DOOM Patch Notes:

  • Restored lighting rendering to match the original game visuals.
  • Updated sound and music playback speed and tone to match the original game audio
  • General game performance and user experience improvements.
  • Slayers Club members can now link their Bethesda.net account to receive the Indigo DOOM Marine Skin and DOOM (1993) nameplate when DOOM Eternal launches.

DOOM II Patch Notes:

  • Restored lighting rendering to match the original game visuals.
  • Updated sound and music playback speed and tone to match the original game audio
  • General game performance and user experience improvements.
  • Slayers Club members can now link their Bethesda.net account to receive the Bronze DOOM Marine Skin and DOOM II nameplate when DOOM Eternal launches.

DOOM Eternal is slated for a release on PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia on November 22.
