It certainly is exciting to see what the good folks at CD Projekt have to show us.
The review embargo for The Witcher 3 has been lifted and even though the team from CD Projekt RED was getting anxious, the reviews for the hugely anticipated game started rolling in, and they are absolutely great.
CD Projekt might be teasing the announcement of all the accolades that The Witcher 3 has received, and talk about their appreciation towards the critics, but I would have to say that CD Projekt might be a bit too humble to do this sort of thing at this point, and it would be more in line to reserve it for later on after the game’s release or at E3, where they could address their fans.
While most likely this would be in regards to The Witcher 3, as they have previously stated that they would not be demonstrating Cyberpunk 2077 at E3 2015 but rather focus on The Witcher 3. They also went on to say that this year belongs to The Witcher.
Regardless, there is still some possibility that they could be teasing a Cyberpunk 2077 reveal, as it is their other massive open world RPG.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt unlocks worldwide at 1 AM CET on May 19 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
We have reported a few hours ago that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt pre-orders have topped one million, something that goes to show, that despite some misguided negative remarks from the media, fans of the series have not lost faith or interest for the game.
