The Witcher 3 Pre-orders Top One Million, “Downgrades” be Damned

CD Projekt RED has announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has exceeded one million pre-orders worldwide.

CD Projekt RED co-founder Marcin Iwiński stated in a press release:

“We’ve crossed the one million pre-order milestone and it’s all thanks to you guys! We would like to thank all the gamers for their trust and support,”

“This is the last stretch and we’re pushing hard — over the last two weeks, we’ve increased performance on all platforms and started working full speed on the expansions, Hearts of Stone & Blood and Wine,”

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is undoubtedly one of the most eagerly anticipated titles of the last few years, and will likely be one of 2015's best. Despite all the misleading, unnecessary and downright Obnoxious reports of Downgrades, The Witcher 3 remains one gorgeous open world action RPG that will surely provide players with countless hours of adventuring, exploring and fighting through a variety of quests and tasks.

While it is in our nature to be attracted to, and feed negativity, even more so than sex nowadays, it is quite exciting to see a worthy game be appreciated, as well as a developer like CD Projekt RED, that has continuously been aiming to accommodate the community and the many fans of The Witcher franchise.
