Soon after Google's announcement of Android Lollipop, HTC promised its users that the update for its devices would come to them within 90 days. And it appears that the wait is over, as Android Lollipop has started rolling out to HTC One M8 users today.
The long wait for HTC's current flagship users regarding Android Lollipop is soon to be over. Android Lollipop update for international HTC users has started rolling out, and pretty soon you'll be able to install the software on your device as well. To check whether your device is ready to receive the update, simply head over to Settings > Software Updates.
But be warned. Android Lollipop for the HTC One M8 weighs in at a hefty 780 MB, so it should take a while to download and install on your device. Not that its not worth the wait. Android Lollipop is one of Google's most important Android updates, and with it ends up bringing a host of new features. These include an all new Material Design interface that ends up bringing a more modernistic and simplistic touch to Google's UI.
