ASUS Transformer 3 Will Definitely Put Your Surface Pro 4 To Shame – Check Out These Specs


Computex 2016 has finally brought together not one, but two Surface Pro 4 competitors in the form of ASUS Transformer 3 Pro and Transformer 3. Featuring Intel’s latest 7th generation processors, these 2-in-1 machines are definitely something that you would want to check out.

ASUS Transformer 3 And Transformer 3 Pro Feature Internals That Will Make Microsoft Think Long And Hard About Its Own Upcoming Powerful Slate

ASUS announced three 2-in-1 hybrids today at Computex 2016:

  • ASUS Transformer 3 Pro (which features the highest performing hardware out of the three)
  • ASUS Transformer 3 (which sits somewhere in the middle)
  • ASUS Transformer 3 Mini (this slate features the lowest hardware out of the three, but is still worthy enough to be purchased if you’re on a very tight budget)

Jumping in straight to the hardware specifications of all three machines, ASUS Transformer 3 Pro and the Transformer 3 sport a 12.6-inch display with a 2880 x 1920 resolution and 275 ppi pixel density. There are several other specification details that are common between the two products and they have been listed below:

  • USB Type-C port
  • Thunderbolt 3 port
  • Harmon Kardon speakers
  • USB 3.0 port
  • HDMI ports
  • Built-in fingerprint readers

As you might expect, both 2-in-1s are provide support for ASUS accessories and features, which are plentiful to be honest and have been listed below:

  • Pen
  • A Universal Dock
  • An AudioPod (which is basically a quad speaker with surround sound)

The keyboard accessory is a little smaller with a 1.5mm key travel but luckily for you, it does have an integrated palm rest. Other features include a ZenSync smartphone integration that lets you sync up your text messages pretty much the same way you integrate iOS and OS X El Capitan. Unlike ASUS Transformer 3 Pro and Transformer 3, Transformer Mini and keyboard will ship in a variety of different colors, which have been listed below:

Currently, availability details of all three Windows 10 powered tablets are unknown, but in case you wanted to know the pricing details, they have been listed below:
