ASUS Debuts Latest ROG Strix WOLED and QD-OLED Gaming Monitors, Starting at $599
Hardware and peripheral maker, ASUS, has released three new monitor models in the ROG Strix OLED lineup, expanding the OLED family further. The company has introduced one WOLED and two QD-OLED panel-based gaming monitors, equipped with AI-driven features to boost visual quality. ASUS claims that these monitors offer advanced AI enhancements for better clarity in dark areas and an AI-driven color-shifting Dynamic Crosshair for better aim as well.
The first model is the ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG Gen 2, which is pretty identical to the Gen 1 model, except for the new AI features. The new model comes with AI Assistant Technology for further improvements, but the core features remain the same. You have the same WOLED panel on a 26.5-inch display that can run at up to 240 Hz refresh rate. The response time of 0.03ms, color accuracy of Delta E < 2, color gamut, and the Peak HDR brightness of 1300 nits remain the same.

The second model is the ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDMS, offering up to 280 Hz of refresh rate for serious gamers, coupled with a fast QD-OLED panel with 0.03ms response time. This monitor boasts a 26.5-inch screen, featuring Samsung's 3rd-gen QD-OLED panel that delivers outstanding color reproduction, color accuracy, and clarity. The monitor brings VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification and is equipped with the AI Assistant Technology to improve visuals even further.
The third model, ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMES, brings a similar set of features, but is limited to a 240 Hz refresh rate. The monitor delivers a 1440p resolution, 0.03ms of response time, 99% DCI-P3 color gamut for vibrant visuals, excellent color accuracy, and the same AI Assistant Technology found on the other two models. Each of these models brings ASUS OLED Care Pro to protect against image burn-in through the Neo Proximity Sensor that automatically reduces the brightness when the monitor is not in use.

Pricing for these models is as follows:
- ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG Gen 2: $649
- ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDMS: $699
- ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMES: $599
