Asus Finally Reveals the Zenfone 11 Ultra's Global Release Date, No Word on a More Compact Zenfone

Over the past couple of years, the Asus Zenfone series has made a name for itself for delivering some really robust smartphones. The Zenfone 10 was one of my favorite smartphones in the market mainly because of how compact it was without really compromising on the specs. Now, it appears that Asus is shifting things with the Zenfone 11 Ultra. Based on the previous leaks that we have seen, it is basically just the ROG Phone 8 but with slightly altered looks.

The Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra is launching next month, and now I am worried about the compact Zenfone

Now, Asus has decided to officially announce the global unveiling of the Zenfone 11 Ultra. The company posted on its Twitter account that the phone is going to go official on March 14th, later this year. Asus has also talked about how this phone will have AI integration, which is a given considering how it runs on Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which is capable of on-device AI. So, now that we know when the Zenfone 11 Ultra will launch, it brings us to the main question. The same question has been spinning in the minds of many people. Is Asus going to release a more compact Zenfone 11, which will live up to the series name, or will Asus just ditch the idea of a compact flagship altogether? We are going to have to wait and see.

The Zenfone 11 Ultra will be available in the following colors: Eternal Black, Misty Gray, Desert Sienna, Skyline Blue, and Verdure Green. Based on all the leaks that we have seen so far, it is an ROG Phone 8 rebrand, which is not really a bad thing. However, there is a real chance that if Asus ditches the compact Zenfone, it might upset many users. We really hope that is not the case because the Zenfone series has made a name for itself by being compact and easily accessible.

I believe more will be revealed in the coming days, given that we are still a little less than a month away from the official unveiling. We will keep an eye out for all the more information that comes our way. So far we know that the Zenfone 11 Ultra will be a powerful smartphone with all the specs you can imagine in a good flagship, and we cannot wait to see what other surprises Asus throws our way.
