ASRock Introduces An All-White X870E Taichi White Motherboard, Featuring 27 Power Phase VRM, PCIe Gen 5.0 Support, and Modern Connectivity

Popular hardware manufacturer, ASRock, has debuted a new flagship motherboard for the high-end Ryzen CPUs called X870E Taichi White. The X870E Taichi White is the first-ever all-white flagship Taichi series motherboards that brings a new color scheme to the lineup. The motherboard uses fully white PCB, white heatsinks, and white connectors to ensure users can build a complete white build based on high-end hardware.

ASRock calls the X870E Taichi ideal for the newly launched AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 Dual Edition, although the motherboard will support all AM5-compatible CPUs, including both Zen 4 and Zen 5 chips. Design-wise, it doesn't look similar to the existing X870E Taichi motherboard and has noticeable changes even in the aesthetics. However, several core features have been retained, such as the 24+2+1 power phase VRM with 110A SPS, modern connectivity, and support for PCIe 5.0 devices natively.

It brings PCIe 5.0 x16 slots for the expansion cards, Gen 5.0 M.2 slots for fast NVMe SSDs, and dual USB4 ports at the I/O for high-bandwidth devices. For memory, the motherboard supports dual channel configuration and up to 256 GB DDR5 max capacity through 4x DIMM slots. The motherboard also brings a larger 64 MB BIOS chip for supporting upcoming generation of processors, and is packed with onboard options for advanced overclocking and troubleshooting.

For processors like Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 and its smaller siblings, the X870E Taichi White will be an excellent option for overclockers and enthusiasts who would want to push the CPUs to the limits. We have already seen the existing X870E Taichi breaking various CPU and memory OC records, and the X870E Taichi White should have no problem in breaking the existing ones.

ASRock didn't share any information on its pricing and availability, but we can expect a premium price tag as it's the new flagship model in the X870E catalog.
