The App Store Editors' Note:

This gorgeous digital board game couldn’t be any simpler to learn, but true mastery lies at the end of a long and winding path. As fans of Tsuro’s tabletop incarnation, we love how faithfully—and beautifully—the experience is re-created here. App-exclusive ways to play add new layers of depth, letting us get lost for hours among these tricky, twisty trails.

The game operates in a simple manner, however, it's really hard to master and requires a lot of skill. You have to devise paths by placing the right tiles and then sliding your stone along the created route. However, there's a twist, placing a wrong tile could mislead you in the wrong direction or even off the board. Your paths can intersect and connect and you have to choose the best one to get to your destination. Check out the video embedded below for more details on Tsuro.

Even though Tsuro is a board game, it took me aback how stunningly it has been designed. The visuals are minimalistic yet incredibly hooking. As for the audio experience, the sound creates an aura like you're traveling through the mystic places. The overall package is quite attractive and since Tsuro is offered for free, there's no excuse not to give the free App of the Week a swing. So be sure to install Tsuro as Apple's free App of the Week.

This is it for now, folks. What are your thoughts on Apple's free App of the Week? Would you be willing to give Tsuro a swing? Share your views in the comments.
