Apple typically releases new beta updates a few days after seeding the final build to the public, but developers remain idle for a month after iOS 17.4, macOS 14.4, and other updates. The company has finally released the first beta of macOS 14.5, watchOS 10.5, tvOS 17.5, and visionOS 1.2 to developers for testing on all compatible devices.

As mentioned, Apple has released beta 1 of its upcoming macOS 14.5 update to developers, which can be downloaded to compatible Macs through the Software Update section in System Settings. Developers are required to connect their Apple ID to their Developer Account to receive the update over the air. At this point, we are not familiar with the changes that will be part of the update.
Other than macOS 15, Apple has also released the first beta of watchOS 10.5 to developers. Registered developers can download the latest beta by heading over to the dedicated Apple Watch app on their iPhone and then navigating to General > Software Update > Beta Updates > and installing the latest watchOS 10.5 beta 1 on their compatible Apple Watch. Make sure that your Apple Watch has over 50 percent battery life and is placed on a charger.

Apple has also seeded tvOS 17.5 beta 1 to developers, which can be downloaded to compatible Apple TV models through the Settings app on the set-top box. We are not familiar with the changes that will be part of the forthcoming update, but we will let you know as soon as something new is discovered.
Lastly, Apple has also released beta 1 of its upcoming visionOS 1.2 to developers for the Vision Pro. The latest beta can be downloaded on the headset through the Settings app and then heading over to the Software Update section. The update could potentially come with improvements for the EyeSight feature, Personas, and much more.
At this stage, we are not aware of the changes that will be part of the upcoming updates, but we will let you guys know as soon as developers are done tinkering with the latest build. Lastly, to install the beta updates on your compatible devices, make sure your Apple ID is connected to your Developer Account to receive the updates over the air.
