Apple releases watchOS 10.5, macOS 14.5, and tvOS 17.5 to the public

Apple's latest software updates were speculated to arrive on Tuesday, but the company has seen fit to release them today, including iOS 17.5. If you are not sure, Apple's watchOS 10.5, macOS 14.5, and tvOS 17.5 are finally out with some pretty nifty changes.

watchOS 10.5, macOS 14.5, and tvOS 17.5 updates are now available to the public

You can download watchOS 10.5 on your Apple Watch through the dedicated watch app on your iPhone. All you have to do is head over to General, tap on Software Update, and download it on your device. There are a few prerequisites that you have to keep note of. Charge your wearable at least 50 percent, and to install the update, it should be placed on a charger. The changelog for the updated has been added below for your ease.

watchOS 10.5 includes new features, improvements and bug fixes, including a new Pride Radiance watch face to honor the LGBTQ+ community and culture.

macOS Sonoma 14.5 is also available to download on Macs that support it. Users can install it through the Software Update section in System Settings. The company also released macOS 13.6.7 and macOS 12.7.5 for older Macs, possibly housing security updates.

macOS Sonoma 14.5 includes the following improvements and bug fixes:
- Quartiles is a new and original daily word game that is now available in Apple News+
- Scoreboard in News+ Puzzles gives you access to new player data for Crossword, Mini Crossword and Quartiles, including stats and streaks

Some features may not be available for all regions, or on all Apple devices.

Lastly, tvOS 17.5 is also available to download through the Settings app on your Apple TV. It can be installed by heading over to Settings and then selecting Software Update. It will be automatically installed if you have the feature enabled. The company also released the HomePod Software 17.5, but details on the changes are scarce at his stage.
