Today, Apple has seen fit to release beta 8 of its forthcoming macOS Mojave, tvOS 12 and watchOS 5. The updates are now available to developers for testing purposes and arrive almost two months after the company introduced the updates at its WWDC event. Apple has devised a new method of installing macOS Mojave’s software updates. So once you have installed the initial beta using the proper configuration profile, the additional or new beta versions can be downloaded via the System Preferences and the tapping on the “Software Update” icon.
As for watchOS 5, you also need an appropriate configuration profile installed. You can get it through the Apple Developer Center. Once it is installed, you can download the update using the Apple Watch app on your iPhone. Simply navigate to General > Software Update and you’re good to go.
tvOS 12 is designed for the fourth and fifth generation of Apple TV. To install the latest beta on your new Apple TV, you need to install a proper profile through Xcode. The subsequent beta versions can then be downloaded via the software update mechanism on your Apple TV.
