AMD AI PCs are seeing massive adoption in the enterprise segment as Agentic AI rages on to be the next frontier of computing.
Only 4% of Organizations Don't Have Plans To Deploy AI PCs; the rest have already deployed AI PCs, as AMD leads the charge in the AI PC Segment
The focus on localized AI and the rise of Agentic AI have rapidly boosted the adoption of AI PCs. This has led AMD to see a big demand for AI PCs in the Enterprise segment as organizations shift their workflows, aligning with future AI requirements.
AI is reshaping how businesses operate, and the PC is poised to play a central role in that transformation. While most AI workloads today run in the cloud, for AI to truly scale, more of it will need to run on device.
Based on a survey conducted by IDC across more than 500 IT and businesses across various regions, it was discovered that AI PCs are being rapidly adopted and are being integrated into daily operations. It was found that:
- 81% of organizations are engaged in planning, piloting, or deploying AI PCs.
- 61% are integrating AI directly into workflows.
- 59% cite high-performance NPUs as critical for enabling next-generation AI experiences.
- 70% report faster performance and reduced latency with AI PCs.
- 66% report increased employee productivity.
- 58% cite improved data security as a key benefit of on-device AI processing.
Agentic AI is seen as evolving the role of PCs in the Enterprise segment. Customers want compute near them rather than relying on the cloud. That's why more AI PCs are being deployed as responsive and context-aware AI becomes the new norm.

The data shows that just 4% of organizations are not planning to deploy AI PCs, while the rest are accelerating their AI PC procurement plans. The result is a 66% productivity gain with AI PCs.
And AMD makes AI PCs not just possible, it makes them powerful, efficient, and secure with its strong suite of Ryzen AI PRO processors. In our review of the Ryzen AI PRO MAX series, we found the new chip to offer incredible performance in AI-related tasks. It runs AI agents well and is super responsive in every task you throw at it.
AMD supports enterprise AI adoption from datacenter to client with a broad portfolio of high-performance CPUs, GPUs, and AMD Ryzen AI PRO processors built for AI PCs. Based on an open ecosystem approach, AMD enables organizations to deploy AI across cloud and edge environments with flexibility and interoperability.
With long-term platform stability and consistent software images, IT teams can deploy and manage AI-capable fleets using the processes they already rely on.
AMD's entire Ryzen AI portfolio now features NPU acceleration, offering over 50 TOPs of performance, a leading figure for power-efficient SoCs. And with strong CPU/GPU support, Ryzen AI is the right platform for the Agentic AI era.
