AMD Radeon HD7800 Series GPU Spotted in the Wild

First picture of AMD's upcoming Pitcairn 28nm chip based Radeon HD7800 Series GPU has been surfaced online at PCINLIFE Forums.

Not much can be seen since both cards are packed in a plastic cover. The cards are reported to be the HD7870 which features the Pitcairn XT chip. A black PCB can be seen while the card features a simple reference design with Red/Black Theme color, A Blower fan and most probably two 6 pin connectors. No other details were give away due to NDA with AMD.

AMD Radeon HD 7850

  • Release Date: February 2012
  • Price: 249 $
