Apple recently announced the new iPhone 14 series and Apple Watch Series 8 at its "Far Out". The new iPhone models come with a boatload of forward-facing additions, which include upgraded camera hardware and the pill-shaped cutout that Apple is calling the Dynamic island. While some features are exclusive to the 'Pro' models, the standard models have also received their fair share of upgrades. iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro Are Getting Two New and Improved Camera Modes - Cinematic and Action!

Apple's new iPhone 14 Pro models are equipped with the new 48MP main camera, which will provide photographers and videographers with enhanced camera functionality. Apple also made improvements to the Cinematic Mode on all iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models. You now have the option available to shoot 4K HDR Cinematic video at 30 fps. Take note that the upgrade is available on the standard models as well as the iPhone 14 Pro models.

Other than the Cinematic Mode on all iPhone 14 models, Apple is also introducing the new Action Mode. Action Mode can record video in 2.8K resolution at 60 fps. If you are unfamiliar and have not watched Apple's Far Out event, Action Mode allows you to record ultra-stable videos on the go. You can run or ride on a bumpy road, and the iPhone would still manage to keep the subject in focus with enhanced stability.
