Rise Of The Tomb Raider is definitely one of the more interesting games released on Xbox 360 and Xbox One this year. The game managed to improve on the gameplay formula of the previous game in pretty much every way, making it a must have for fans of action / adventure games. While PC and PlayStation players still have to wait to be able to play the game, Xbox One owners can now purchase and enjoy a new DLC pack for the game which introduces a new mode called Endurance Mode.

The new Rise Of The Tomb Raider Endurance Mode DLC pack has been made available on the Xbox Store a few hours ago and adds the already mentioned Endurance Mode to the game, a mode where players' survival skills will be put to test as they try to stay alive in a harsh environment and without starting resources. The Endurance Mode DLC also includes a new outfit and weapon.

Alone and in the wild, Lara must scrounge, scavenge, craft and survive the harsh elements by day, as well as lethal threats from enemies, both man and beast, by night. This is her ultimate woman-versus-wild test to push the limits of how long she can survive on her own in sprawling, unforgiving landscapes. Fire takes fuel, cold kills the unprepared, food restores health, but everything must be caught, collected, or crafted. You start with nothing and must find everything. Challenge friends to your longest survival run and battle to the top of the leaderboards for the title of Ultimate Survivor. Includes a new outfit and weapon.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is now available on Xbox 360 and Xbox One in all regions, with the game finally hitting PC next month. The PlayStation 4 version has yet to be dated officially.
