Yesterday we reported detailed information of the GeForce Titan, a new flagship GPU being prepared by NVIDIA meant to launch in late February. Based on the GK110 core architecture, the GeForce Titan would be an utter beast in performance and would reportedly outperform the GeForce GTX 690.
PCOnline have received a 3DMark 11 score of the GeForce Titan from their sources which shows that the info about GeForce Titan being faster than the GTX 690 could possibly be true. The following 3DMark 11 which is supposedly ran with the GeForce Titan GPU scores X7107 marks in Extreme mode, you can compare it to the GeForce GTX 690 which has a score of around X6000 marks in the same benchmark. The score is almost twice that of a single GTX 680 which is amazing to say the least if its true. You can check out the benchmark screenshot below:

Now we want to believe it but the source has not been mentioned. PCOnline says that it is a reliable source but we still want to wait till late February to see what kind of performance the GeForce Titan GPU actually hold. For now you can take this as a glimpse of the performance you might expect from the upcoming card whereas all the previous rumors have been pointing out that the GeForce Titan is an absolute beast.
Furthermore, PCOnline also suggests that the card is the GeForce GTX 780 however a different source mentions that the GeForce 700 series would only launch around June 2013. This GPU would be known by the name of GeForce Titan or would get a 600 series branding scheme. You can head over to our previous article to learn more about the GeForce Titan GPU.
