The new HTC M4 will also be accompanying the flagship HTC M7 ultrapixels handset sometime this year. The mid-range M4 will be packed with some amazing features and performance and would still not empty the pockets with its speculated price.
Some fandroid ninja somewhere managed to get hands on the elusive new HTC M4 photos bringing some much needed cheer in the camp of those who have been waiting for a decent Android phone without paying an arm and a leg for it.
Earlier reports claimed that HTC will unveil its flagship smartphone code named M7 at a press conference in March this year. This phone is packed with a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 13 ultrapixels, jelly bean and a full HD 1080p screen.
Couple of years back HTC M4 clearly was at the top of the chain in terms of specs, but this year, with every other Android phone coming up equipped with full HD and 5″ screen, a 4.3 inch display with a dual core 1.2GHz processor puts you somewhere in the mid-range but never on the top. Apart from these, a 5 megapixel camera, 2MP front-facing and a 1GB RAM makes you a decent phone for the budget conscious here.
There is a little confusion arising from the leaked HTC M4 photos as it seems a little resembling to that of the earlier leaked image of HTC M7 – though that was rather different from the chassis rendering of the HTC M7 as you could see below.
This leaked image of HTC M4 could well be a marketing gimmick to distract the attention from the upcoming flagship HTC M7 smartphone. Whatever the reason be, we are, along with millions of others of course, waiting for the Mobile World Congress for HTC to finally unveil some of these handsets out and shed some light on the specs of these smartphones.
