[Update] A new Dishonored 2 video comparison video has also been made available a few hours ago. You can check it out right below.

[Original Story] Dishonored 2, the new entry of the series developed by Arkane, is now available on PC and consoles, but it’s been revealed yesterday that the PC version suffers from some performance issues that are making it difficult to enjoy the game. A fix for these issues has yet to be released, but it seems like Arkane is at least aware of these issues.

On his Twitter profile, Arkane’s Co-creative director Harvey Smith confirmed that the team is well aware of the performance issues, and is currently investigating the matter.

The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version of Dishonored 2 also received a day one patch which introduces several fixes and enhancements. The day patch won’t be released on PC, however, as most of the fixes are already built in┬áthis version of the game.

Last week, Arkane Studios revealed the Dishonored 2 system requirements. The game isn’t one of the most demanding games around, so it should be running nicely on most modern systems once the performance issues are fixed.
