The Nintendo Switch emulator Yuzu continues to get improved, and its latest builds introduce improvements not only for Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom but for a variety of other popular titles, such as Metroid Prime Remastered.
Yuzu Early Access 3673 introduces, alongside a few fixes, an option to apply anisotropic filtering for all mipmap modes, which improves anisotropic quality in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and its predecessor, Metroid Prime Remastered and more titles. This option, however, doesn't work well with every Switch game, as it can produce artifacts in games such as the Xenoblade Chronicles series, Astral Chain, NieR: Automata, and Bayonetta 3.
The Yuzu Early Access 3675-3678 builds introduce further improvements for Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, which now no longer requires the Anisotropic Fix mod. The latest builds of the emulator also fix x fighting regression visible from a distance while gliding in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, broken cloud rendering in the Xenoblade Chronicles games, broken skybox in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, and more.
As these latest builds are Early Access builds, they are not available for Yuzu Patreon subscribers. Their improvements will eventually be added to the emulator's main build, which is available to the public for free.
