Xiaomi Launches Redmi A-Series Monitors, Targeting Entry-Level Market by Unveiling Ultra Cheap IPS and VA Gaming Monitors
It's common to see 144Hz IPS monitors in the $100-$150 price range, but this might be one of the rare incidents where such a monitor exists at a price way lower than $100. Xiaomi, which is a well-known mobile and monitor manufacturer in China, has released the latest Redmi A-Series, featuring three displays, boasting 22, 24, and 27-inch monitors.

The Redmi A22 is one of the cheapest if now the cheapest, 100Hz VA gaming monitor that costs only 379 Yuan. It's roughly $53 in USD, which is incredibly cheap. The cheapest we can find are the MSI MP225V for $65 on Newegg and the MSI MP223 E2 for $70 on Amazon. The Redmi A22 brings 1080p resolution and a screen size of 21.45 inches, offering a decent solution for gamers on a budget and for office workers or students.

The next offering is the Redmi A24 2026, which is probably the cheapest 144Hz 1080p IPS monitor on the market, priced at just 469 Yuan or US$65. The monitor not only offers a perfect screen size and resolution combo with a decently high refresh rate, but also offers excellent color accuracy with Delta E<1. Such an incredible color accuracy is usually found on high-end monitors and makes the A24 an all-around package for gamers and content creators.

The third one is the iteration of the A24, but it offers a bigger screen size. The Redmi A27 2026 is a 1080p gaming monitor with a 27-inch IPS display, offering identical specifications to the A24 but more immersion. It costs 579 Yuan or US$80, which makes it one of the cheapest 27-inch 1080p 144Hz IPS monitors on the planet. The monitor boasts 300 nits of brightness and a good color gamut with 99% sRGB color space.
All these monitors are currently listed for purchase on JD, which is a popular e-commerce store in China.
