Spotted by The Verge, Brazilian regulator Tecnoblog has seemingly leaked a new Xbox controller made specifically for Xbox Cloud Gaming. Images of the new controller were published on Tecnoblog, and while it's still unclear as to when this controller could hit the market, not only does it look like it'll be ready for launch soon, but it also looks like Xbox took a page or two from 8BitDo's book of controller making.

The face of the new gamepad and its finish are both reminiscent of 8BitDo's style of controller, so much so that when it is officially revealed, it may just be another controller made in collaboration with the two companies, since 8BitDo has made several officially licensed Xbox controllers. If it wasn't made in collaboration with 8BitDo, then at the very least Microsoft and Xbox picked up some pointers from the third-party controller maker.

According to the report, the controller comes equipped with support for Bluetooth 5.3, a USB-C port (which you can see in the image above), a 500mAH rechargeable battery, and most significantly, support for 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi connectivity. Also, as you can see in the image above, it also comes with two asymmetrical thumbsticks, four ABXY face buttons, two bumpers, two triggers, and the same D-pad found on standard Xbox controllers.

The support for Wi-Fi connectivity is part of what tips this controller off as being made especially for Xbox Cloud Gaming. It'll connect directly to the Cloud Gaming servers when in use to reduce latency and help ensure you're getting the smoothest experience possible while playing. A method we've seen previously with the fallen Google Stadia, which did the same thing with its controller.

Hopefully, we'll learn more about this controller soon, especially now that these images are out in the wild.
