xAI Has Actually Filed for the “MacroHard” Trademark, Positioning It as Elon Musk’s Latest AI Venture Which Is Expected to Take a Jab at Microsoft

Well, MacroHard could actually emerge as an entity owned by the billionaire Elon Musk in the future, as a new trademark application has been filed for the name.

Elon Musk's Next Firm Could Be Named 'MacroHard', Which is Basically the Opposite of Microsoft

Elon and his ventures are often surprising, and, by the 'apparent' looks of it, the next one could be even more hilarious. Based on a new filing at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, xAI has filed for a trademark on the word "MacroHard." If you still haven't figured out what it means, it actually spells the opposite of Microsoft. The term has been used by Elon several times on the internet, and it seems like his next AI firm could very well be named MacroHard, taking a jab at Microsoft.

Elon has mentioned the name MacroHard several times in his posts over X, and he hasn't even ruled out the prospect of creating a firm around it. Now, we do speculate that MacroHard could be the next AI project by the billionaire, since in an earlier post, he did mention creating a company that would have a multi-agent AI software, where xAI's Grok would spawn thousands of agents specializing in coding or video generation. Later in the post he did say "Can you guess the name of this company?", and we do believe that MacroHard is a great bet.

Elon hasn't been a fan of Microsoft, particularly of Bill Gates, since he has often called out against Microsoft's COVID-19 pandemic efforts, even when Gates bought a Porsche EV instead of a Tesla. So, the rivalry is a deep-rooted one, and with the emergence of MacroHard as an AI firm, Elon could probably take a jab at not just Microsoft but also OpenAI, the AI firm which he has strongly voiced against in the past. We do have to wait and see whether MacroHard becomes a reality, but judging by Elon's intentions, it is a fair possibility.
