WoW Classic Stress Test Kicks off Tomorrow; Accessible to Anyone with Active Game Account in Americas & Oceania Region

World of Warcraft Classic hardcore realms

Blizzard has announced that the next WoW Classic stress test will kick off tomorrow  for those with an active game account in the Americas & Oceania region.

The stress test will be available on 2019-06-19T21:00:00Z through June 21. Those who haven't yet tested Classic will be able to download the client later today. The Battle for Azeroth expansion isn't required to be able to participate in the test - you'll only need an active World of Warcraft subscription.

According to Blizzard, all races and classes will be available during this stress test but the maximum level will be capped at 15. In addition to Classic’s open world content, instanced content such as WSG, RFC, WC and Deadmines will also be available during the test.

“Please focus as much play as possible during the first three hours of the stress test”, Blizzard writes. “During this time, we’ll be looking for more issues to address under initial launch conditions. The stress test realm will remain available for 48 hours.”

“If you encounter any issues during the test, please let us know by using the in-game bug reporting tool.”

World of Warcraft Classic releases this summer on August 27th - just a few days after this year's Gamescom event.
