Cinder City’s Steam page is live, and the MMO third person shooter game could be among the first to recommend a massive 64GB of RAM.

A few hours ago, publisher NC and developer Big Fire Games shared a new developer preview of Cinder City, an upcoming cinematic sci-fi third-person shooter game that we first previewed at Gamescom 2025. It's set in a near-future, dystopian Seoul that differs from our timeline because of a single event that fundamentally alters the history of the 21st century.

Within this altered world, Seoul has been devastated by mutants and uncontrollable criminal organizations, leaving the super soldiers known as the Cinder Knights as humanity's last hope. The player will play as Seven, a Cinder Knight who stands at the center of the story. The journey begins with a mission in Samseong-dong to save his daughter, Zoe. As the journey unfolds, players will uncover hidden truths buried within the megacity of Seoul and find themselves at the center of a story that will determine humanity's fate.

The developers reiterated that Cinder City focuses on three core elements: a tense cinematic shooter, a massive open world, and large-scale multiplayer PvE. There's a narrative-driven progression structure in which, as the story advances, players will meet various characters, follow interconnected narratives, and immerse themselves in a hero's journey.

But the game also includes MMO elements. Indeed, the studio confirmed they are implementing diverse PvE cooperative content and multiplayer elements so that multiple players can collaborate and tackle challenges together, creating an open world battlefield that is constantly changing and expanding.

NC and Big Fire Games have also opened the game's Steam page, which includes the minimum and recommended system requirements. The memory requirements are definitely perplexing: it may be the first game to recommend 64GB of RAM.
