WhatsApp Has Introduced a Keep in Chat Feature to Help You Hold On to Important Messages and Voice Notes

WhatsApp has been steadily adding a slew of new features to make the overall experience better for everyone today. The Meta-owned platform has announced a new feature called Keep in Chat. The new feature is designed to help you make sure that you can keep the messages you want saved so you do not lose access to them. This can actually work for all sorts of messages, including disappearing messages.

WhatsApp will let you save your favourite messages or voice notes but only if the sender wants you to

The Keep in Chat feature works similarly to the feature that lets you star messages, but the main difference here is that this one is designed for all the chats, including the ones that disappear. So, how does this work? Well, once you send a message, and someone decides to keep it, you get a notification that someone has decided to keep your message. From that point, you can either let them keep the message, and it will not be deleted automatically, or you can decide not to let them keep it, and in that case, the message will be deleted after the timer is expired. \

It is also worth noting that the feature is not rolling out to everyone, so you will have to wait before you get your hands on the feature. If you are wondering how you will see the Keep in Chat messages, then you will have to go to the Kept Messages folder, where all the messages will be organized by chat. WhatsApp has said that the new feature is going to roll out to everyone in the coming weeks, so you will be getting access to it rather quickly.

Honestly, the thing that I Like about WhatsApp the most is that instead of focusing on a plethora of random features, the platform is only adding features that can be used by everyone and honestly, the Keep in Chat feature is surely something that I would be using as there are often times when you need to save something and have quick access to it.
